Ashland Craft Announces Debut Album ‘Travelin’ Kind’
On-the-rise country music artist Ashland Craft has formally announced the exciting details of her forthcoming, and hotly anticipated debut album with the ‘Travelin’ Kind’ record dropping across all platforms from Friday, September 3rd – it is expected to be a hugely popular body of work.
And as the excitement for the upcoming LP continues to grow within the country music community, Craft has delighted her growing global fanbase by sharing not one, but two brand new songs off, of the new tracklist with ‘Your Momma Still Does’, and ‘Make It Past Georgia’ available to stream and download now.
Both of the stellar songs offer a fantastic glimpse as to what is to come from the future ‘Travelin’ Kind’ project early next month, and Ashland Craft demonstrates her effortless vocal control and truly impressive songwriting talent through the two tracks that have been shared off her inaugural LP so far.
Speaking about the LP to American Songwriter, Ashland says: “I think it was important for me to start the story from the beginning, until now. And so it was only appropriate to name it Travelin’ Kind. In my head, that was an ideal title because that’s me right now. It’s what I’m doing and what I will be [doing] for a while. I’m proud of the fact that it’s organic and a little more old school than the modern Country in the way we produced it. We didn’t use any tracks or extra things. We just let the music speak for itself. And, I feel like it turned out to represent me very well and who I am, and I’m excited for people to get to hear it and connect to it.”
It’s an excellent introduction to Ashland Craft, both as an artist and as a person, allowing her to deeply connect with her listeners and show them her soul as she delivers a sweeping story arc throughout the entire soundtrack allowing her truth to be told, and to showcase to the world that she is a true master of her craft.
