Becky Lawrence Announces New Single ‘It’s Christmas’
Rising UK country music talent Becky Larence is getting ready to round off an incredibly successful 2020 with the release of her brand new single ‘It’s Christmas’ which will be her final offering of the year that has seen her be nominated for Artist Of The Year, bag her first number 1 single, and also receive some international radio play.
And now the Wiltshire-based performer is ready to bring some festive magic to the forthcoming holiday season with her stunning original Christmas single which will be officially released on Friday, November 27th and which promises to be one of the most exciting tracks of the year.
The upcoming single has bee co-written by Becky Lawrence and her mother Julia, making it an extra special offering especially during these times with Christmas just around the corner, a time where family becomes our main focus and we see our work worries drift into the background, even if only for a little while.
It’s a joyful release from Lawrence with its feel-good lyrical story acting as a reminder that despite the chaos, and heartache we have all endured throughout 2020, love remains abundant in all of our lives which is something that should be treasured, now more than ever in these troubling times.
Speaking about the song, Becky Lawrence says: “This year has indeed been a huge rollercoaster for me. Iβve experienced many lows but incredible highs for which Iβm truly grateful. I want to end the year with a feel-good Christmas song that will hopefully help to lift the spirits of listeners and enable them to see the positive side of life, especially at this time of year”.
Whilst Julia adds: βIt was a flash-in-the-pan idea but then we started scribbling lyrics and, before we knew it, we had a song of sorts. It was great fun and a privilege to write this song with Bex; I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as we enjoyed writing and singing it together.β
