Ben Selleck Announces New Single ‘Different Sides’
Multi-talented country music influenced Essex-based singer/songwriter Ben Selleck has this week formally announced details of his brand new single titled ‘Different Sides’ which will be dropping across all leading digital download and streaming platforms from Friday, May 28th.
An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Selleck has a rich history of creating standout songs that incorporate country, and folk into the soundscape and is clearly inspired by the legends of yesterday which creates a solid and dynamic stylistic that sets him apart from the current crop of rising acts.
And with his newest single ‘Different Sides’ he returns to his roots after lockdown reignited his love of songwriting, and especially the craft of penning a country song and this offering is the first to be released from that timescale of when he found inspiration during quarantine and it’s an excellent starting point for what’s to come.
Speaking about the genre’s influence, Ben Selleck states: “The country genre has always been close to my heart and the UK scene, particularly during this pandemic, has inspired me creatively like never before. It led me to write an album worth of simple songs that tell stories about my life in ways I could never have portrayed as a younger man.”
Despite the past year being extremely tough for recording artists, Ben has managed to create a diamond out of the rough and that enforced downtime allowed him the opportunity to gravitate toward the music that his heart and soul truly finds peace-creating and it’s beautiful to witness.
