Brad Cox Releases New Album ‘My Mind’s Projection’

Award-winning Australian country music singer/songwriter Brad Cox is back with his standout sophomore album ‘My Mind’s Projection’ which is being distributed via Sony Music Entertainment Australia and follows on from his brilliant self-titled debut offering which dropped back in 2018.

The latest collection includes the number 1 country radio singles ‘Give Me Tonight’ and ‘Drinking Season,’ along with his stellar collaboration with Adam Eckersley, ‘Remedy’ making it an eclectic, and refreshing soundscape that allows for Cox to deliver a truly honest, and insightful tracklist.

So far the hit songs ‘Drinking Season’ penned by Brad alongside Dan Isbell (Luke Combs), has amassed an impressive 1 million global streams, while the rock-tinged ‘Give Me Tonight’ has garnered in excess of 4 million global streams and the full project is to reach an even wider audience.

Speaking about his new record Brad Cox says: “I finished writing the first record in 2017. ‘My Mind’s Projection’ covers the time I spent between finishing writing that record and writing this one. There’s a bunch of songs that are two-years-old and a couple of songs that I wrote in November. I’m a huge fan of Sturgill Simpson’s ‘A Sailor’s Guide To Earth’. Like that album, I wanted to make a record that I know my fans will love. But, I think this album will open doors to a lot more people, other than fans that only like country music.”

The stellar LP is a real standout collection of songs that effortlessly crossover multiple genres with a heavy influence from the rock stylistic making it an outstanding project that allows for Cox to share a career-defining sonic soundscape that will act as the foundation to future releases.
