Cam Releases New Single ‘Classic’
Country music powerhouse Cam has kicked the promo campaign for new album ‘The Otherside’ into high gear with the release of her outstanding new single ‘Classic’ which acts as another delightful taster of the forthcoming record which is already one of the most talked-about releases of the year.
The upcoming LP is Cam’s first studio album in five years and fans will be able to get their hands on the hotly anticipated project on October 30th with it already promising to be one of the very best full-length releases of 2020 such is the caliber of tracks already shared by the performer.
The record has been created over the past three years with a vastly esteemed team of producers and writers including the likes of Tyler Johnson and Jeff Bhasker and with the song ‘Classic’ she showcases the incredible strength-in-depth listeners can expect from the overall tracklist.
Co-written by Cam alongside Jack Antonoff the latest offering is an uptempo, high energy nod to timeless and long-lasting romances and friendships that stand the test of time and overcome all the hurdles. It’s the perfect summer anthem and is a track that conjures all the nostalgic vibes.
Speaking about her latest single, Cam states: “Jack and I caught something in the air that day and ran with it. The track is so much fun. Jangling guitars, claps, it feels like when a group of familiar people get back together over the holidays, clanking around after dinner with too much wine, and amidst the chatter and laughter and closeness they are really telling each other, deep down, just how much they love each other.”
‘Classic’ is the third release off ‘The Otherside’ and follows on from major hits ‘Till There’s Nothing Else’, and ‘Redwood Tree’ and once again delivers a fresh new sonic stylistic and lyrical approach signaling that the full album will be a divine blend of crossover sounds and wonderful stories.
