Carly Pearce Announces New Album ’29: Written In Stone’
Back in February of this year, the phenomenally gifted country music superstar Carly Pearce wowed with the release of her most honest record yet with ’29’ taking listeners through her journey of heartbreak, devasting loss, and career highs and lows with songs that laid her heart and soul bare.
The outstanding body of work allowed for Pearce to showcase her intricate writing style, and powerful vocal control like never before – in an embodiment of all aspects of her life leading up to now with a beautifully structured tracklist that gives listeners an autobiographical insight into the make-up of the singer/songwriter.
And having delivered one of the best country collections of all time, Carly Pearce has come to realise that, that chapter of her life isn’t quite finished so she has headed back into the studio and crafted several new tracks that will feature on her brand new album ’29: Written In Stone’ which releases on September 17th.
Speaking about the LP, Carly shares: “So much has happened to me in the last year. The more my life unraveled, the more the songs lifted me up. As the smoke cleared, and some unbelievable things started happening, I was writing even more truth and getting lifted up even higher – and I realized, as much as 29 captured a moment, I wasn’t done with the story.”
The upcoming soundtrack will bring together 15 incredible songs, the original seven that featured on the first instalment of ’29’, and eight new offerings that tell the rest of Pearce’s story and captures the arc of her life, and journey; the joy, the tears, the laughter, the hurt, and everything in between.
