Carly Pearce Shares ‘Next Girl’ Video

American country music powerhouse Carly Pearce is having a standout year of success having shared her stellar sophomore self-titled album at the start of 2020, and since following that up with hit singles, and standout visuals that have helped her to become one the most loved modern-day country performers.

Now as she continues to build on that platform of chart and critical success, Pearce has shared the official music video for newest single ‘Next Girl’ which is acting as the beginning of a new era and the jumpstart to the singer/songwriter third studio album which is slated for release next year.

The standout visual is a raw, comical, and honest take of what it’s like being a woman on the dating scene, with some men only out to get one thing. The clip follows Carly Pearce in a bar being hit on constantly by sexist jerks including one who sends her a d**k pic, and also older men hollering crude remarks.

The video is dark, and gritty and shows the sinister side of looking for love, the way it also takes us through the generation of “that guy” also shines a light on the fact that even though it’s the 21st century some men still believe it is their right to treat a woman like a piece of meat.

And even though the theme is rooted in dark vibes, the funny side is also present thanks to the tongue-in-cheek lyrical wordplay of ‘Next Girl’, and Carly Pearce’s effortless ability to weave the playful, and witty throughout her musical offerings that is evident especially in this stellar visual.

Speaking about the official ‘Next Girl’ clip, Carly Pearce said across social media: “I had so much fun playing myself AND a ton of “girls” & the scenarios they encounter while out at a bar. I hope y’all love it as much as I loved making it & it makes you laugh! Let me know what y’all think!”
