American country music superstar Carrie Underwood is ready to wow her fans this festive season with the release of her very first Christmas album. The forthcoming project is titled ‘My Gift’ and drops on September 25th, a whole three months before the big day which may be a little too early for listeners to enjoy and really get into the spirit of the holidays but nonetheless it promises to be a must-have record this year.
The exciting news came from Underwood on Monday, July 20th with the vocal powerhouse confirming the forthcoming record and its release date across all social media platforms, and despite the summer heatwave fans across the globe are now counting down the days until they can unwrap ‘My Gift’.
Speaking about the album via her social channels, Carrie Underwood said: “I realize we’re in the middle of a summer heatwave, but I couldn’t wait to tell you….at long last, my very first Christmas album #MyGift is coming September 25! So much love has gone into this and I cannot wait to share it with you!”
Although dubbed a “Christmas” LP, the tracklist will also feature a selection of faith-based songs that celebrate the true meaning of Christmas Day alongside a variety of feel-good festive anthems that always bring a little cheer to the holiday season.
