Cassadee Pope and Sam Palladio Share ‘California Dreaming’ Performance Video

Earlier this year Grammy-nominated country crossover superstar Cassadee Pope shared her stunning acoustic album ‘Rise and Shine’ and has recently been following the record with a range of performance videos of songs off the impressive tracklist giving the LP an extra dynamic.

And the latest live video to be shared from the project comes in the form of the gorgeous ‘California Dreaming’ which is a collaboration with boyfriend and fellow country music performer, British artist Sam Palladio. The clip sees the two vocal powerhouses colliding on the standout performance.

The track itself was co-written by Pope alongside Shane Stevens, and Alex Kline and the video has been directed by Lee Geoff who has expertly created a fitting visual backdrop complete with palm trees and shots of the ocean that have been projected onto a big screen behind the two singer/songwriters.

The stunning aesthetic of the live performance video of ‘California Dreaming’ from Cassadee Pope and Sam Palladio perfectly fits the lyrical story of the summery track and the visual backdrop brings that carefree vibe to life as the performers showcase their stunning vocal harmony.

Speaking about the ‘Rise and Shine’ record, Cassadee says: “Rise and Shine is a collection of songs that talk about where I’ve been and where I’m headed. I wanted people to hear these in their purest form so I went with a more stripped back sound that really lets the lyrics stand out. My hope is that these songs help aid people into feeling every emotion they need to let out.”
