Cassadee Pope Announces New Single ‘What The Stars See’ Featuring Karen Fairchild and Lindsay Ell
On Friday, May 7th, American country-pop sensation Cassadee Pope will share her brand new single titled ‘What The Stars See’ which sees her teaming up with fellow vocal powerhouses, Lindsay Ell, and Karen Fairchild for a unique, and incredible three-part collaboration.
The forthcoming track is a powerful offering that has been penned by Pope alongside Jake Rose and Lindsey Rimes and tells the story of having a desire to take a sneak peek into someone’s life who is no longer a part of your own – something many can relate to across the globe.
When announcing the details of the single across social media and confirming that Ell and Fairchild would be joining her on the song, Cassadee Pope also announced details of a fun competition that will see anyone who pre-orders ‘What The Stars See’ ahead of its drop date be entered into a prize draw to win their very own star named after them.
Speaking about the release, Cassadee says: “I was inspired to write ‘What The Stars See’ after sitting outside one night looking up at the stars, curious what their perspective might be looking down on us. It made me think back to times in my life when I had just come out of a relationship but still felt so connected to the other person. I imagined having the superpower to be among the stars and observe, from their perspective, an ex moving on with their life (or not).”
