Cassadee Pope Shares ‘Say It First’ Video

As the build-up to her ninth studio album ‘Thrive’ continues, country music superstar Cassadee Pope is continuing to showcase her effortless talents whilst delivering a taste of what’s to come from the forthcoming record and ‘Say It First’ sets a marker for the full project which is due later this year.

The outstanding track shines a light on Pope’s incredible vocal, and stellar songwriting skill – it is a song that incorporates all facets of her artistry and epic crossover soundscape allowing her to connect with her global listenership and give them a glimpse as to what the new LP will sound like.

Not afraid to take sonic risks, Cassadee Pope has once again delved deep into her musical inspiration to craft an instant hit and with the single still garnering some major traction across the streaming, and download charts, the US performer has now shared the brilliant official music video too.

The wonderful visual has been expertly directed and edited by filmmaker Ed Pryor who delivers a standout colourful depiction of the inner storm and turmoil that perfectly matches the song’s overall angst along with the cutting vulnerability of its poignant lyrics making it one of the vest videos of the year.

Speaking about the clip, and working with Ed, Pope says: “Working with Ed Pryor again was such a treat. We both knew we wanted this video to include weather elements and fast flashes to coincide with the inner turmoil the song talks about. I wanted to wear a beautiful dress to further illustrate the fact that vulnerability is strength.”

Whist Pryer adds: “Developing concepts with Cassadee and her team is always a breath of fresh air. Say It First is such a powerful song that we all were inspired to pair imagery that was visually exciting yet also emotionally impactful”.
