Cat Lines Announces New Single ‘It’ll Still Be A Merry Christmas Day’
Fresh from the recent release of her stellar debut single ‘Let ‘Em Talk’, fast-rising country crossover talent Cat Lines has officially announced details of her forthcoming holiday single titled ‘It’ll Still Be A Merry Christmas Day’ which will be released on December 11th and promises to deliver a little magic to the festive season.
The upcoming track is a stunning country-pop ballad that will resonate with listeners across the world as she delves into nostalgic memories of past Christmases whilst also touching on some recent fears people have had such as the inability to spend this time with loved ones due to the ongoing health crisis.
It’s a major standout offering from the pop crossover singer/songwriter who manages to bring together the current climate of celebrating Christmas in the midst of a global pandemic while at the same time offering a little hope that the festive season will still be magical in its own way.
Speaking about her latest single, Cat Lines says: “I realized there was the very real possibility that, due to the risks and restrictions associated with COVID-19, I would not be able to travel home to Texas for the holidays, making this almost a full year since I’ve visited my family. As an exercise, I began writing down a list of all the things I love about the holidays, and the song sort of grew out of that, out of a desire to still make this year something special. It touches on a feeling that I think a lot of people are experiencing right now, and tries to spin it in the most positive light.”.
‘It’ll Still Be A Merry Christmas Day’ is a timely reminder that there is still hope, love, and fun to be found in amongst the chaos and fear that has ripped through 2020 and delivers a message that love and light are still at the heart of Christmas and this season still has the ability to wrap is in a magical embrace.
