Charlotte Young Announces New Single ‘Four Hours, Four Years’

Modern-day contemporary country crossover singer/songwriter Charlotte Young is one of the best-selling acts within the ever-growing UK scene and she is set to further rise up the ranks with the release of her hotly anticipated new single titled ‘Four Hours, Four Years’ on Friday, May 27th.

Taking sonic inspirations from the likes of Carrie Underwood, Aerosmith, and Johnny Cash, Young’s soundscape is an eclectic blend of soulful storytelling, punchy pop-country, and impressive rock-inspired styles that creates a hybrid fusion that puts her in a lane of her own, especially across the British market.

With her newest single ‘Four Hours, Four Years’ releasing this coming Friday, the track marks the start of what promises to be an exciting new chapter for Charlotte Young and it is also her first taste of new music this year – we expect plenty more in the coming weeks and months from the standout artist.

Speaking about the track, Charlotte says: “To me, Four Hours Four Years on the surface is angsty and tells the tale of heartbreak from the side of anger but when you strip it to just the lyrics, the reality is that the anger is formed from devastation and sadness, I wanted to create a song you could scream in your car and feel pumped up about but also cry to if you need to”

It’s a great comeback offering from the acclaimed performer and one that allows her to build on the solid foundation of success she has already put in place whilst further enhancing her growing reputation within the UK and wider country music scene.
