Country music superstar Chris Lane is back with his third single in three weeks, following on from the release of the mega-hits ‘Fill Them Boots’, and ‘Summer Job Money’, Lane has shared the sentimental track ‘That’s What Mamas Are For’ which dropped over the US Mother’s Day holiday weekend.
The poignant offering sees the multi-talented vocalist paying tribute to a mother’s calling, something which has an extra special meaning as the singer/songwriter is soon to become a father for the first time, the story is overlayed with a gentle acoustic melody that uplifts the heartwarming words.
With ‘That’s What Mamas Are For’, Chris Lane has showcased yet another side of his soundscape with a song that feels like a warm embrace and offers listeners a sweet reminder that a mother’s love for her child is an unrivaled love that is all-encompassing and never-ending.
Speaking about the track, Chris says: “As a soon-to-be dad, this Mother’s Day more than ever, I’m just so grateful for my mom and the amazing momma my wife Lauren already is to our baby boy. This song is to celebrate all the mommas out there. We wouldn’t be who we are today without you.”
