Cross Atlantic Share ‘Dear Hometown’ Video

Earlier in the year exciting country music duo Cross Atlantic shared their brand new single ‘Dear Hometown’ with the autobiographical track showcasing their immense talents and with the song continuing to build traction across multiple charts and streaming platforms they have now released the official music video.

The standout visual perfectly encapsulates the songs message and story arc and delivers a striking take on the pair’s ten-years in Music City; Nashville allowing for them to take the listener on a journey through their journey to the city with a gorgeous reflection of what has led them to where they are today.

The scrapbook style clip has been expertly directed by renowned director Jon Karr who has done a wonderful job of bringing the single to life with the nostalgic video shining a light on that emotional tug Cross Atlantic have often felt whilst pursuing their musical goals and staying close to home.

Speaking about the video, one-half of the duo Karli states: “With the photo montage, we were able to bring our childhood memories to life. This song is so special to us because we believe that chasing a dream like ours requires us to be fearless in certain ways but all we really want to do is make our families and hometowns proud. In this video, we are able to showcase the emotion that no matter where we are or how successful we become, we carry where we came from with us. The images in the video are childhood pictures of both me and James coming from very different worlds but if you really look, you won’t see much difference.”

It’s beautiful, and emotive imagery that will strike a chord with all the dream chasers out there who are juggling the fire to chase down their dreams alongside home and family life – not only is ‘Dear Hometown’ a fantastic song, the accompanying music video is also truly outstanding.
