Fresh from releasing the stunning acoustic rendition of her hit single ‘Never Have I Ever’, US country music sensation Danielle Bradbery has now shared her breathtaking new single titled ‘Girls In My Hometown’ which is an instant country classic that is steeped in old school sounds.
Bradbery is one of the genre’s most talented artists and with this latest release she has showcased her spinetingling vocal control as she delivers one of the most incredible tracks of the year so far that has a brilliant 90s vibe and is a modern-day classic that will no doubt become an instant fan favourite.
The lyrical story is thought-provoking and evokes images of those teenage years as you move towards a new life era whilst wondering exactly what happened to the girls back home. It features a stunning strings led production backdrop and a relatable lyrical story making it Danielle’s best release to date.
Speaking about her latest offering, Danielle Bradbery says: “Girls In My Hometown” touches more on my Texas roots—the sound and the meaning behind it. When I heard this song, my first thought was “whoa, I felt that..” I showed close friends of mine to get their opinion, and they got a bit emotional. We might look past it sometimes after we go along with our lives, but taking a moment to look back at where we’re from.. it’s a pretty special thing.
Penned by Emily Weisband, Josh Osborne, and Nicolle Galyon, and produced by Dann Huff. ‘Girls In My Hometown’ is an incredible song that offers listeners the chance to reflect on where they’ve come from as the look to where they are going whilst Bradbery’s soaring vocal elevates the song to heady heights.
