Drew Haley Releases New Single ‘Fool To Remember’

Tennessee country singer/songwriter Drew Haley this past Friday (June 12th) shared her gorgeous new single ‘Fool To Remember’ which debuted on the Apple Hot Tracks Country countdown and in addition to sharing the single, Drew also premiered the official music video via CMT.

The song is a heartfelt offering from Drew which is a reflection on memories of what used to be and holding on to a past that you’re not quite ready to let go of. The emotional lyrical story lays the groundwork for the perfect sad song, whilst the passion in her gorgeous vocal makes it clear she has been there before and the acoustic production arrangement allows her voice to take centre stage.

Speaking about ‘Fool To Remember’, Drew Haley says: “As a songwriter, you always hope that someone out there will relate in some way to your songs, maybe find hope and healing through them. I’m a sucker for writing sad songs and ‘Fool to Remember’ is definitely one of the most vulnerable, soul poured out on paper, heartbreak songs I’ve ever written. It’s a bit scary and exciting all at the same time to be finally releasing it.”

The official music video which has been premiered across CMT has been produced by Austin Peckham of Create Nash, and the beautiful clip adds a visual emotion to the song whilst Drew’s stunning beauty on camera matches her velvet-smooth vocals. Throughout the video, Drew tells a truly relatable story of love, what could have been, and the pain of those memories that linger on.

Drew Haley is an extremely exciting talent and with this latest offering, she showcases her incredible artistry and puts herself firmly on the map as a true leading light of the ever-growing genre. She is a multi-talented musician and this track delivers a soulful, heartfelt story that will strike a chord with the masses.
