Emma Stevens Announces New Album ‘Light Year’
Country influenced pop singer/songwriter Emma Stevens returns on Friday, April 30th with her brand new collection titled ‘Light Year’ with the album bringing together a gorgeous soundscape littered with multiple sonic inspirations creating a luscious and unique dynamic.
The forthcoming record is a bold project that allows for Stevens to showcase all aspects of her multi-faceted sound as she explores an array of sonic sounds whilst remaining true to the multi-instrumental backdrop that allows her to reach her core demographic of listeners.
Having released a string of hit singles over the course of the last six months, Emma Stevens is now ready to take a major step-up with the ‘Light Year’ LP as she delves deep into her roots and shows she is unafraid to mix things up in order to create the best and most authentic music she can.
Speaking about the record, Emma states: “The songs all mean so much to me, I really hope they resonate with the people who hear them. It was such fun to experiment with new styles of production. There are some tearjerkers on this album, but there are also some really high energetic pop tunes. It was great to let my imagination run wild.”
The upcoming tracklist has also seen the multi-talented vocalist teaming up with some of the industry’s most revered producers including Grammy award winner Charlie Midnight (Billy Joel, Cher, Joni Mitchell, James Brown) and Pete Woodroffe (Simply Red, Melanie C, Joe Cook).
