EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Aaron Raitiere Talks New Album ‘Single Wide Dreamer’
Grammy award-winning music maker Aaron Raitiere is currently gearing up for the release of his hotly anticipated debut studio album titled ‘Single Wide Dreamer’ which will be released on May 6th across all leading platforms with the record being spearheaded by new single ‘For The Birds’.
Here we chat exclusively with Aaron Raitiere to discuss the LP in more detail:
How does it feel to be so close to the release of your debut album?
I’m excited for the songs to see the world. I feel creatively relieved and am halfway into recording the next one.
What’s it been like teaming up with such amazing producers for this record?
I am lucky and fortunate and blessed and all of those words combined. Blortunataducky.
Can you give us a little insight into the overall process of this project?
It was a drive-by record. We laid the foundation and then just let it marinate, and while that was happening other folks just drove by and added stuff. Then it sat a while longer and someone drove by and picked it up and brought it to life!
Do you have one song featured that you’re particularly excited to share?
All of the ones about people in my past. I’m excited for those folks to hear their songs. “At Least We Didn’t Have Any Kids”.
Do you have any set goals in mind for this release?
To just get something out there was my goal. I can only hope people enjoy it, but personally, my goal was met.
What’s been the most challenging and enjoyable part of putting this LP together?
Waking up and doin’ the dang thing is a challenge every day. Eating breakfast, taking my meds, doin’ some stretches, etc. But I enjoy every bit of it. I think this was all just another ‘thing’ that needed to be done.
Looking ahead, what else do you have in store?
I’m gonna sit here and enjoy this cup of hot cocoa.
