Here we chat exclusively with Laura Evans to discuss the new record and latest run of dates:

Your new album is out now. How excited are you to be sharing this project?

I honestly can’t wait for people to finally hear it. This album feels like such a true reflection of where I am right now, both personally and musically. I’ve poured my heart and soul into every song, and it’s the most “me” I’ve ever sounded. After living with these songs for so long, it’s such an amazing feeling to finally let them out into the world

What has the writing and recording process been like for this record?

It’s been really special, challenging in all the right ways. I worked with some incredible co-writers who pushed me creatively and vocally, and that’s exactly what I wanted. There were moments where it felt raw and vulnerable, and others where it was pure fun in the studio. The process reminded me why I love making music; it’s emotional, messy, honest, and completely addictive.

Is there one song in particular that you’re especially excited to share with listeners?

That’s such a hard one because every song holds its own little story. But if I had to pick one, there’s a song called ‘I’ll be the one’ which is really special.

You’re also touring the album. What are you most looking forward to from being back on the road?

Performing live is one of my favourite things, and touring always brings the songs to life in a new way. And I can’t wait to share that energy again, especially on this run, which is my biggest headline tour yet.

What can fans expect from this set of live dates?

It’s going to be full of emotion, energy, and a few surprises. There’ll be the big pop moments, the bluesy ballads, and a couple of more intimate stripped-back parts that really show the stories behind the songs. I want every show to feel like a shared experience, something people walk away from feeling a bit uplifted, maybe even seen.

Do you have a song off the album that you’re most excited to play live?

I’m really excited to play  ‘Honest’ live! It’s one of my favourites! 

Do you have any set goals in mind for this upcoming record and tour?

I think for me it’s about connection. Of course, I’d love to keep growing — to reach new listeners, play bigger rooms, and continue building this beautiful community around the music. But mostly, I want people to feel something real when they hear these songs. If this album helps even one person feel a bit less alone, then I’ve done my job.
