Gracie Carol Announces New Single ‘Breakup Szn’
TikTok is famous for making singers go viral, and one of those performers racking up the hits on the video-sharing platform is on-the-rise country-pop artist Gracie Carol who has seen a clip for the song ‘Breakup Szn’ hit over 2 million views making it a serious hit across the social media app.
And with the track still garnering a lot of buzz and attention across the ever-growing platform, the multi-skilled creative has decided to capitalise on the success and will officially release the track as a single across all leading digital download, and streaming platforms on Friday, July 30th.
The upbeat, anthemic crossover smash was co-penned by Gracie Carol alongside Alex Angelo, Mo Brown, Zach Seabolt, and Cooper Bascom and excellently produced by renowned pop music maker Alex Angelo too, who has done a fantastic job of crafting a stellar, upbeat backdrop that elevates the lyrics.
Speaking about the single, Gracie says: “Breakup Szn is for anyone who is going through a breakup or has gone through a breakup that left you feeling like your heart got broken into so many pieces. At the time, I had just got broken up with, and a couple of other of my girlfriends were having breakups as well. I was not who I thought I was, I didn’t know how to pick my feet back up. I went into one of my first writes after the breakup feeling so lost and not sure if I could even let my feelings out yet. After I talked about wanting to feel better again, one of my co-writers, Mo Brown, came up with the idea of the song title called “BREAKUP SZN” and from there I knew it had to be a fun boppy song I could jam to with my girlfriends in the car,”
The forthcoming release from the fast-rising pop-country singer/songwriter follows on from previous singles ‘3 Minutes’, and ‘Is Yet’ and shows a remarkable vocal maturity as she delivers an outstanding crossover hit that will no doubt connect with her growing global listenership thanks to the universal theme.
