Harleymoon Kemp Releases New Single ‘She Looks Like Me’

Earlier this year rising British country music singer/songwriter Harleymoon Kemp burst onto the scene with her massively impressive breakout debut single ‘Space’ which allowed for her to showcase her soaring vocal range and also shone a light on her wonderful storytelling songwriting skill.

And now the new talent has shared her brilliant second single titled ‘She Looks Like Me’ which was officially released today (Friday, September 18th) across all streaming and download platforms with the multi-talented artist once again showing that she is one of the most talented performers to be rising the ranks.

The track was co-written by Kemp in Music City; Nashville alongside the late Blue Miller (Academy of Country Music Awards – Winner, Producer – Blake Shelton) and was finely produced by Fred Abbott of Noah and The Whale with the team creating a truly outstanding sonic sound for the single.

Speaking about her latest offering ‘She Looks Like Me’, Harleymoon says: “This moment really hurt at the time, left me confused, flushed and uncertain of how I was meant to feel. The song was burning inside me for months after that. Once I got to Nashville it was written within an hour, wound freshly re-opened. I wanted a singular, acoustic production to feel how I did; lonely.”

And it is that stripped-back production approach that allows this song to truly shine as Harleymoon Kemp strips away any possible distractions as she lets the raw emotion of the lyrical story to take centre stage while she delivers a gorgeously impressive vocal that puts her on the map “as the next big thing”.
