Joe Martin Releases New EP ‘Bound For Lonesome’

A much-revered artist, Joe Martin is able to craft introspective, and observational songs that instantly connect with the listener whilst his gorgeous country-infused soundscape gives him the opportunity to truly showcase his seemingly effortless artistry and soulful vocal tone.

Having already shared a number of hit singles that have garnered success across multiple genre charts, the inspired singer/songwriter has quickly risen up the ranks and become one of the most loved, and respected artists to be creating country-influenced songs at this time.

And as his star continues to rise, and he looks to further push against the boundaries of what country music is, Joe Martin, is now ready to take the next step toward global chart, and critical success with the release of his newest EP ‘Bound For Lonesome’ which is out now across all leading platforms.

The impressive record perfectly embodies the spirit and craft of the Americana songwriting style and to make it stand out even more every song featured was recorded live with The Chorlton Country Club, and also includes stunning backing vocals from Lauren Housley and stellar pedal steel from CJ Hillman.

Speaking about the project, Joe Martin says: “I wanted every track on this EP to sound truthful and honest. When I perform live, I always mean every word I sing, and people pick up on that, it’s harder to convey that on a record, but the live process of recording helps. I’m very lyric-focused and want people to find the layers in the story and to go deeper with every listen. I want it to grow on people, and make them want to come back to it again and again.”
