Larry Fleet Releases New Single ‘Stack Of Records’
Big Loud Records’ breakout country music sensation Larry Fleet is currently gearing up for the release of his hotly anticipated and long-awaited debut studio album ‘Stack Of Records’ which will be dropping across all platforms on September 24th but before fans can get their hands on the LP they can now wrap their ears around the title-track.
With the full-length project just around the corner, Larry is kicking the promotional campaign into high gear and to further showcase the forthcoming tracklist he has officially released the record’s impressive title track which pays homage to a string of American musical heroes from multiple eras.
It’s a soulful tribute to those artists who helped shape Larry Fleet into the performer he is today and allows him to put down in words what those inspirations meant to him over the years and how they still inspire his soundscape today – it’s a standout offering and one that delivers a little glimpse as to what’s to come from the LP later this month.
The stellar song has been co-penned by Fleet alongside Ben Hayslip and Eric Paslay and is focused on the literal stack of vinyl albums Larry’s parents kept in their home in White Bluff, Tennessee. A budding musician from a young age, he spent his childhood fascinated by the sound of the many legends from across the American musical spectrum.
Speaking about the track, the singer/songwriter says: “‘Stack of Records’ is practically an autobiography of the music I listened to growing up that made me want to pick up a guitar. I’m grateful to every musical influence that unknowingly shaped me into the artist I am and I hope I can return the favor for someone else one day.”
