Laura Evans Announces New Single ‘Good At Getting Over You’
Multi-talented blues/country singer/songwriter Laura Evans is one of most exciting Welsh talents on the market at the moment. Her impressive hybrid sonic fusion and intricate lyrical style make her stand out from the current crop of artists and allows her the opportunity to create her own lane within the crossover genre.
And as her star continues to rise at a rapid rate she is ready to take her flourishing career to the next level with the release of her brand new single titled ‘Good At Getting Over You’ which will be distributed via Rosie Music across all digital download and streaming platforms from Friday, June 25th.
The forthcoming offering from Laura Evans is yet another fantastically well written and produced track that showcases the London based singer’s immense vocal talent. To create the lyrical story arc, Laura teamed up with fellow writer Josiah J Manning with the pair working in perfect harmony to craft the best song possible.
Speaking about the single, Laura Evans says: “We had just finished recording vocals for my last single “Solo” back in October and we had no intention of writing a new song that day, we were just taking a break and jamming, Josiah played some really cool chords on his grand piano and I started singing this chorus melody that just came from nowhere, then on my 4-hour drive back to London I came up with the lyric idea and wanted to put a positive spin on breaking up with someone, that night the song was written and we recorded it back at Momentum a few months later”
That little idea for a joyful breakup song turned into this stellar track that has the potential to spearhead some serious mainstream success for this next stage of her career and push her further toward global chart success – she certainly has enough talent to warrant worldwide hits across multiple genre markets.
