Logan Mize Announces New Album ‘Welcome To Prairieville’
Big Yellow Dog’s multi-talented recording artist Logan Mize has officially launched a new musical chapter with a brand new single ‘George Strait Songs’ which is spearheading the launch of his forthcoming album ‘Welcome To Prairieville’ which drops across all platforms from Friday, October 1st.
The forthcoming collection from troubadour Mize sees him harnessing his hometown roots into a stunning 11-song tracklist that allows him the opportunity to showcase all sides of his outstanding artistry and stellar country crossover sound that puts him on the map as one of the genre’s leading voices.
With ‘Welcome To Prairieville’, Logan Mize celebrates his rural upbringing with songs that shine a light on his traditional country songwriting style that is laced with authentic stories, and stellar production overlays that give the whole LP a polished, and honest vibe that creates a dynamic stylistic throughout.
Speaking about the album, Logan says: “My buddy Blake Chaffin and I have been writing together for several years. Early on in our careers, we came up with this concept where we’d basically write songs about an imaginary place that we came to know as ‘Prairieville’. Growing up in middle-of-nowhere towns, we took all the characters we’ve encountered over the years, stories that stood out to us and just our life experiences overall, and from there, we painted our own versions into this tiny town. When it’s all said and done, it isn’t exactly a place you can pinpoint on a map, but I like to think it’s a representation of all the one-stoplight towns across the nation. At the very least, we’ve all driven through a Prairieville.”
It’s an excellently well-crafted record that delivers an 11-song story arc with powerful imagery throughout with Mize putting his all into the project to ensure that it connects deeply with his ever-growing global listenership and showcases his outstanding vocal and lyrical talent that is evident on every song featured.
