Louise Parker Announces New Single ‘Just Friends’
Fresh from the release of her top-five UK iTunes Country Chart single ‘Lie To Me’ back in the summer fast-rising British singer/songwriter Louise Parker has confirmed that a brand new offering will be dropping on Friday, October 9th in the form of ‘Just Friends’ which signals another pivotal moment in Parker’s career.
The track has been performed regularly by Louise during live-shows and streaming gigs and has become a huge fan favorite in recent times with listeners persuading the Essex artist to finally share the studio version that will no doubt delight her growing fanbase as she further rises up the UK country ranks.
The forthcoming release comes on the back of a busy few months despite lockdown restrictions with Louise Parker having returned to the UK from America weeks before the start of the year and during those first few months before Coronavirus halted the world the performer also had several live performances and was due to headline her own tour in April but sadly lockdown put a stop to those plans.
But thankfully COVID has not stopped Louise creating and recording and next weekend she will share the stunning ‘Just Friends’ which is a major sonic step-up from the rising star as she looks to build on her impressive chart success and really push on to become one of Britain’s leading vocalists.
Speaking about her upcoming single, Louise says: “‘Just Friends’, set at 2 am over text message, depicts the epiphany of letting someone go too soon and wanting to reconcile. I wrote this song in 2018 and have performed it live across the UK/USA, but decided to record and release now after encouragement from my fans. Over the past two years, it has become a firm favorite in my sets and, coupled with my cheeky nature, affords me the opportunity to have fun and not take myself too seriously.’
