Máiréad Announces New Single ‘This Time Of Year’
Fresh from releasing her brilliant new single ‘Crying On The Dancefloor’ back last month Irish country music singer/songwriter Máiréad is ready to deliver a little festive magic this coming Friday (December 4th) with the release of her gorgeous original holiday track ‘This Time Of Year’.
The poignant new offering from the multi-talented vocalist who shares a similar tone to the likes of LeAnn Rimes, and Faith Hill, is a truly special, personal release that has been inspired by one of her closest friends and is dedicated to that special person too making it extremely raw, and honest.
The heartfelt ‘This Time Of Year’ tells the story of love and loss and has been co-written by the London based performer alongside Cara Beard and was expertly produced by the incredible Kaity Rae making it an instant, timeless classic that will resonate with listeners the world over thanks to the intimacy of the lyrical story.
Speaking about her forthcoming Christmas release ‘This Time Of Year’, Máiréad says: “This song goes out to everyone who is missing someone at Christmas time. 2020 has brought a lot of sadness and loss into the world and I hope that this song can bring comfort, at this time of year”.
