Máiréad Shares ‘This Time Of Year’ Video

Earlier this month on-the-rise UK country music singer/songwriter Máiréad released her stunning new Christmas single ‘This Time Of Year to mass critical and fan acclaim and as the stellar festive track continues to build momentum across streaming and digital download platforms the performer has now shared the official music video too.

The song itself is one of the very best holiday singles you’re likely to hear this year with the multi-talented artists delivering a heartfelt message of hope through the poignant lyrical story of what it feels like to be missing somebody at this special time of year – something that will strike a chord with many.

And now Máiréad has also released the official music video for the timeless song allowing for the message to take on another lease of life as she showcases a stunning stripped back clip that focuses on the lyrics and also features fellow Brit country artist Tim Prottey-Jones on keys.

Speaking about the video, Máiréad says: “We wanted to keep the video quite simple and warm, Tim Prottey-Jones kindly stepped in for a guest appearance on keys and we had a great time filming that section. We tried a few various different shots/scenes but in the end, decided to keep it very simple to ensure we didn’t lose any of the true sentiment and meaning behind the song”.

The result of that stripped-back approach means the live performance style clip solely focuses on the heartfelt lyrical story that is expertly weaved throughout the classicly vibed release from the rising star and gives her the platform to truly let the song shine without the need for any extra frills.
