Megan O’Neill Announces New Album ‘Getting Comfortable With Uncertainty’
Fresh from the release of her gorgeous single ‘Time In A Bottle’ which was recently named as our Song Of The Week in partnership with Modern Age Music Roots, Irish country-influenced singer/songwriter Megan O’Neill has officially announced details of her new album ‘Getting Comfortable With Uncertainty’.
The forthcoming collection will be released across all leading digital download, and streaming platforms alongside a physical release on Friday, March 12th with the record expected to be one of the most beautifully constructed bodies of work across this year’s musical calendar.
With ‘Getting Comfortable With Uncertainty’, Megan O’Neill follows on from her debut full-length album that dropped back in 2018 with this sophomore offering allowing for her to build on that solid foundation of success whilst carving out an exciting new chapter for her roots sonic style.
Speaking about the LP, Megan says: “Writing and recording these songs was so cathartic. Joe and Dave were amazing and really
pushed me outside my comfort zone when we were in the studio. We threw around ideas and they were always up for trying anything and everything, which really allowed me the creative freedom to explore. I couldn’t have made this record with anyone else.”
The album from O’Neill features thirteen stunning new songs – 12 original and 1 cover with the lyrical stories very much autobiographical yet with a sweeping universal them that will draw listeners in and allow for them to place themselves within the stories and themes running through the songs.
