Molly Lovette Releases Cover Of ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’

Fast-rising country music sweetheart Molly Lovette is ready to completely steal your heart this festive season with her stunning rendition of the classic favorite ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, with the singer/songwriter perfectly putting her own beautiful spin on the track bringing a new view to the hit.

Originally penned way back in 1944 by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blaine the yuletide hit was originally performed by the legendary Judy Garland as part f the musical Meet Me In St Louis and has since been covered by a whole host of country artists such as Carrie Underwood, Sarah Darling, and many, many more.

And now it’s the turn of Lovette to put her own unique spin on the Christmas fan favorite as she delivers a sublime warm and lively rendition that has been perfectly produced by Leland Grant who has expertly crafted a soundscape that beautifully accompanies Molly’s shining vocal performance.

Speaking about her cover release, Molly Lovette says: “This was so much fun to record. There’s nothing like singing along to a holiday favorite and I think we could all use a little extra holiday cheer this year. I really wanted to change the music up a little and make it more ‘me’ and I absolutely love the way it turned out. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did recording it.”

Molly has done an incredible job of re-imaging the festive classic totally making it her own whilst retaining the magical essence of the original. This is her very first Christmas single and to have chosen such a huge hit was a bold move but one that has completely paid off for the rising star.
