On-the-rise British country music duo One Trick Pony are looking to build on the impressive success of their previous double single release in December of last year which saw them arriving onto the scene with a major splash, their latest single ‘Old School’ will drop on Friday, March 12th.
The forthcoming offering will be available to download, and stream across all leading digital platforms and will mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the singer/songwriters. This is their first official release of 2021 and it’s one that showcases their immense musical strengths.
Consisting of close friends Georgia Lennon, and Michael Pickering, One Trick Pony are a stellar duo who deliver solid acoustic-based offerings laced with modern-day production styles allowing for them to create a dynamic soundscape that is 100 percent uniquely their own.

Speaking about their latest offering, One Trick Pony say: “The concept of our latest single started with the beauty of old school love; the picture of an old man sat on a park bench, reading a love letter from his wife. Moments which seem to have sadly disappeared within society today. We wanted to write something that reflected these missing pieces of nostalgia, potentially even acting as a reminder of that old school love, interlinked with the exciting moments of new-age love as we know it today. Although you can envision the above-mentioned scenario that formed the foundations of ‘Old School’, we always set out to make our music universal to each and every listener.
