Ones To Watch 2021 – 5 Brit Country Stars On The Rise
As we bring a turbulent 2020 to a close it’s now time to start looking toward what 2021 has in store for us and while our futures still look uncertain one thing we can rely on is incredible music and here we take a look at five exciting British country music artists who are set to have a huge twelve months next year.
Emma and Jolie
This year has been fantastic for the UK pop crossover duo Emma and Jolie with the release of two phenomenal singles; ‘I Don’t Need A Man’, and ‘Cry For You’. They have incredible vocal chemistry that translates to powerful harmonies and moving lyrical stories. They are set for huge success next year with a whole host of single releases and possibly an EP in the pipeline too.
Twinnie
Despite the Coronavirus pandemic halting many of her plans, vocal powerhouse Twinnie still managed to achieve outstanding things throughout 2020 including sharing her stellar debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ and also an acoustic version of the LP to add another dimension. 2021 is set to see her star rise even higher with a US Radio EP in the works, and a UK tour scheduled for September plus multiple single offerings also lined-up.
Kevin McGuire
It has been a pretty quiet twelve months for Scottish singer/songwriter Kevin McGuire but a huge highlight of the year came when he shared his sublime version of Enrique Iglesias’ ‘Escape’ which was preceded by the gorgeous original ‘On Time’. Currently, he is hard at work crafting new music and has plenty of songs ready to be dropped throughout 2021 which will seem him becoming one of Britain’s most revered male vocalists.
Hollie Shearer
Newcastle pop crossover artist Hollie Shearer has had a hugely impressive breakout year with the release of her brilliant debut single ‘Love You Better’ which was quickly followed up by sophomore offering ‘1400 Days’, and the stellar vocalist closed the year out with ‘Sauvignon Blanc’. 2021 will be a huge year for the singer/songwriter with plenty of new music for listeners to wrap their ears around.
The Adelaides
Having been a part of the UK country music scene for three years, harmony-driven trio The Adelaides are finally set to release their long-awaited debut album at some point next year (pandemic permitting) and it promises to be a truly phenomenal body of work that will see them becoming one of the most loved bands across the country sector.
These are just a select few names of who we can expect to dominate the country music scene in the UK next year and there is sure to be a new name to arrive that will blow everyone away plus there is an array of talent already making major waves so be sure to keep plugged into the market to ensure you don’t miss out on the talent rising the ranks.
