Paige Wolfe Releases Debut Single ‘Why Can’t My Heart’

The British country music scene is continuing to grow and evolve with new artists releasing music within that genre on a regular basis and as the scene continues to grow at a rapid rate, on-the-rise performer Paige Wolfe this past week released her brilliant debut single ‘Why Can’t My Heart’.

The exciting talent is a brand-new voice for UK country music with her effortlessly fusing classic country storytelling lyrics with deep soul to craft her distinct soundscape and with her inaugural single ‘Why Can’t My Heart’ she demonstrates a fantastic pop-country production overlay that brings together multiple sonic elements.

The standout track has been co-written by Paige Wolfe, alongside the skilled Dan Fry and Millie Blooms Productions, who also co-produced the record for the musician – the team of music makers have created something really special together and have delivered a song that has the potential to break out across the mainstream market.

Speaking about the single, Paige says: “Why Can’t My Heart, at its core is a response to an abusive relationship. It is centred around the “awakening” that happens when you begin to realise that your relationship is harmful and unhealthy. It’s about that middle place victims often find themselves at – holding onto hope while simultaneously realising there is none”.

It is a fantastic arrival onto the scene from the singer/songwriter who has debuted a standout record that brings together many of her musical inspirations whilst shining a light on her stellar vocal control and intricate writing style.
