Raquel Cole Announces New EP ‘The Essence Of Me’
Country music performer Raquel Cole recently announced that she has made the semi-finals for the Sirius XM Top of the Country, in partnership with the Canadian Country Music Association and has followed up that exciting news with the announcement of her stunning new EP ‘The Essence Of Me’.
The project comes two years after Cole shared her gorgeous debut EP ‘Personal Truth’ which allowed the singer/songwriter to burst onto the scene with an outstanding body of work that showcased her smooth vocal control and strong songwriting skill that sets her apart from the current crop of country acts.
And with ‘The Essence Of Me’ release Raquel once again delivers a truly remarkable tracklist with the three-track offering taking the artist back to sonic roots with the songs having a simplistic production backdrop of just electric, cello, or acoustic guitar to support the lyrical stories which give the EP a brilliant depth.
Speaking about the upcoming EP which drops on Friday, August 14th, Raquel Cole says: “So often I find myself performing just myself and a guitar. So, I wanted to strip it back to just myself on electric and acoustic. It still needed a little something, and it has been a dream of mine to record cello, so we made it happen!”
With her latest project, Raquel once again shines a light on her outstanding musical ability and the record will no doubt delight her growing legion of fans across the globe as she delivers yet another stellar extended offering that is filled with classic country tracks that are filled with luscious string arrangements.
