Rosso Announce New Single ‘Found’
On-the-rise British country music duo Rosso have seen their star rise rapidly in recent months and have garnered support from BBC Introducing radio stations thanks to their uplifting, melodic country harmonies, and stellar songwriting craft that allows them to find their home within the genre.
And as they continue to get their name and sound out there the duo hailing from Warwickshire have officially announced the release of their brand new single titled ‘Found’ which will be their first full-band offering – listeners will be able to download and stream the track from September 3rd.
During the lockdown, Rosso found themselves with the time to truly hone their sonic style and have harnessed that into their forthcoming single whilst during quarantine they also teamed up with Tim Prottey-Jones to produce their upcoming five-track EP which has solid country, and Americana influences throughout.
The brand new single dropping next month will spearhead an exciting new chapter for the impressive UK crossover duo as they look to further break into the global mainstream market and showcase that their music has what it takes to lead a new wave of country/Americana artists breaking through.
Speaking about their upcoming EP, Rosso say: “Our vision of the EP as a whole is to showcase the variety and beauty in country music. We want someone who thinks they don’t like country music to listen to all 5 tracks and be surprised that they find one song they liked. Our first release ‘Found’, sums up the EP well. As you will hear, Found has a fusion of delicate harmony, poetic lyrics and then takes you to an unsuspecting place of country rock, belting vocals and electric riffs”
