Sam Cary Releases Debut Single ‘Bonnie And Clyde’
Southern California based country singer/songwriter Sam Cary last month burst onto the scene with the release of her stellar debut single titled, ‘Bonnie And Clyde’. The track was penned in Nashville over three years ago and it has undergone a long process in order for it to become an official single.
Co-written with Jennifer Smestad, and produced by Billy Smiley the inaugural offering from Cary is a huge hit for the rising star who was just 16 when the song first began to take shape in Music City. Sam is definitely an exciting talent and this latest offering showcases her incredible vocal strength and shines a light on her songwriting maturity.
Speaking about her first single and its lyrical inspiration, Sam Cary says: “Love can be many things from wonderful and sweet to risky and maybe even dangerous. With Bonnie and Clyde, I wanted to express the latter. Based on the infamous couple Bonnie and Clyde, my debut single conveys the two lovers who will go to great lengths to be together.”
Aged just 19, Sam has already performed at a variety of Nashville’s most famous venues including the likes of the Bluebird Cafe, Commodore Grille, and more throughout the city. The rising sensation has also received plenty of radio airtime and is a much sought after songwriter within the scene.
