Sarah Darling Reimagines ‘Shine’
As an artist, Sarah Darling always looks to take listeners on a journey with her musical output evoking stunning imagery as the lyrical story transports and inspires and with her latest release she has reimagined her ‘Wonderland’ album track ‘Shine’ in a stunning way with a beautiful acoustic live video.
The clip features breathtaking live instrumentals from session musicians including Chris Smith, Sam Sharawi, Sean Rumsey, and more with each performer bringing a luscious string melody to the recording which has been beautifully pieced together by Welsh photographer and videographer Matt Allen with the sessions being filmed by each artist at home.
The result is a breathtaking reimagining of the already gorgeous track from Sarah Darling as she delivers a crystal clear, angel-like vocal that overlays the stunning acoustic reperformances which breathes new life into the track and offers a new insight into the sweet lyrical story.
Speaking about the latest version of ‘Shine’ and the live video, Sarah captioned the social media post: “To all the bright lights in my life, this one is for you! Thank you to my UK band for putting this beauty together! I feel so loved a million miles away. I miss these guys so much and I miss all of you!!
