SINGLE REVIEW: Eleri Angharad’s ‘Delete It’
On-the-rise Welsh country crossover performer Eleri Angharad returns this Friday (March 19th) with her first official release of 2021, ‘Delete It’ follows on from the hugely successful breakout ‘New Sin’ which dropped late last year amidst the chaos of lockdowns and ongoing restrictions but the track was greatly received by listeners and critics alike.
And now Eleri is ready to take her promising music career to the next level with her latest offering which once again sees her perfectly mixing and crossing multiple genre styles to create a soundscape that is uniquely her own whilst keeping within the lines of what British country music is.
The piano-led release sees Eleri Angharad delivering a story that will strike a chord with the masses as she delves into the uncertainty around social media messages especially those on WhatsApp and that agonizing decision of deciding whether to hit send or delete on an intimate message.
There’s a strong emotional core to the song that puts the Swansea based singer/songwriter on the map “as the next big thing” in country-pop whilst renowned music producer Lee House (XY&O, Catrin Finch)Â has done a wonderful job of creating a production backdrop that perfectly compliments Eleri’s vocal tone, and the strong image evoking lyrics.
‘Delete It’ is also another strong female empowerment release from Eleri Angharad and having teamed up with fellow artist Beth Keeping to create the story-arc the two women have collided to create a truly standout release that will resonate with a huge amount of fans across the globe.
