SINGLE REVIEW: Twinnie’s ‘Cool’

Singer/songwriter Twinnie returns with her first taste of new music in more than a year with the release of her anthemic single titled ‘Cool’ which is spearheading the re-release of her outstanding 2020 breakout major-label debut studio album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which was one of the standout records of last year.

With ‘Cool’, the multi-talented vocalist steps out of the traditional country music realms and jumps into the more mainstream pop territory through the thumping production backdrop that never tapers off, however, the lyrical storytelling, and her natural twang remain to give the song a country vibe that underpins the soundscape.

Produced by renowned music maker Jack McManus ‘Cool’ sees Twinnie delivering an epic track that is driven by the strong story arc that focuses on an almost hopefull break-up – there’s a chance for reconnection down the road, and this song penned by the York native alongside Jon Green puts the emphasis on a possible reconciliation.

Meanwhile, the pop-infused sonic overlay is a barnstorming musical masterpiece that allows for Twinnie to demonstrate her vocal prowess as she puts her all into the single with a dynamic performance that harnesses all facets of her talents whilst giving her the platform to put the spotlight on her epic artistry.

The BMG signed artist is one of the most exciting country-pop singers’ to be creating music right now and with ‘Cool’ she has shown once again that she has what it takes to lead a new wave of genre-bending performers in crafting songs that aren’t tied to one single style of music and instead are just completely focussed on making great projects.
