SINGLE REVIEW: Twinnie’s ‘Superhero’ Feat Lucie Silvas

On Friday, October 23rd Brit country crossover superstar Twinnie shares the acoustic version of her hit debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy‘ which originally dropped back in April and this new re-imagined offering sees the York singer/songwriter stripping the songs back to their core.

Along with including newly produced tracks the new version of the impressive LP will also feature a collaboration with Nashville artist Lucie Silvas who appears on the song ‘Superhero’ which she co-wrote alongside Twinnie with the original being one of the major standout ballad moments on the LP.

The breathtaking duet was premiered tonight (Sunday, October 18th) across Country Hits Radio and it is simply stunning. Hearing the two power vocals collide on the emotive ballad brings a whole new dimension to the heartstring-pulling track and drives it back to its core country roots.

Both Silvas and Twinnie have incredible vocal control separately but the magic truly comes to the forefront when the backing vocal of Lucie’s collides with Twinnie’s lead vocal which is underpinned with an emotional kick, the blend is subtle yet stunning. Stripped-back the York performer’s voice is laid bare on the divine opening allowing for her to once again shine a light on her vocal prowess before the sensational gentle voice of Lucie joins as a backdrop.

Together, the Nashville-based singer/songwriter, and British crossover superstar sound absolutely phenomenal as they offer fans a gorgeous vocal harmony that is soft, and subtle in its delivery making for a truly divine new rendition of ‘Superhero’ that is now a contender for song of the year.
