Stuart Rolfe Announces New Single ‘What Happens When’?
Country influenced singer/songwriter Stuart Rolfe returns on Friday, March 26th with his powerful, and thought-provoking new single ‘What Happens When’ which delves deep into what is going to happen when Coronavirus is no more and we are back to “normal” whilst examining the current times.
We all know that this time has changed us, even if we don’t fully understand how there will come a day when the virus is behind us but things will lay inside of us from what’s gone before and this poignant song takes a look at the psyche of people living through the ongoing pandemic.
Deep within the track, there’s also a pause for reflection and for listeners to say a thank you to all of our emergency services who are putting their own lives on the line in order to protect and serve us all in the name of duty – a tender moment in a song that will leave listeners in deep thought.
Speaking about his newest single, Stuart Rolfe says: “We can’t go out, we’re locked within ourselves to keep safe, fighting this invisible
war. Then came the chorus which refers to the masks and people’s identities, your face. It occurred to me, that people even stopped making eye contact, and that social interactions were slowly diminishing. Then of course the question ‘What Happens When” a question that cannot be answered, not even by scientists”.
This is truly a fantastic release from Rolfe and one that will allow him to connect on a deeper level with his fans and those new to his music – rich in classic country styles, and storytelling lyrics the song is a real standout from the multi-talented performer who is pushing for global chart success.
