Taylor Goyette Releases New Single ‘Just Another Country Song’

Nashville based singer/songwriter Taylor Goyette has released his standout new single titled ‘Just Another Country Song’. The track comes on the back of his 2020 release ‘Mermaids & Pirates’ and is shared via Galore MGMT which Goyette has been signed to since 2018 after he caught the eye of the Emmy-award winning songwriter Trey Bruce.

The latest offering from Taylor is his fourth single overall and signals the start of a huge breakout era for the US artist who effortlessly weaves classic country sounds throughout his polished productions. He is an exhilarating talent and this new track showcases his strong vocal ability and impressive songwriting talent.

Speaking about ‘Just Another Country Song’ Taylor Goyette says: “I wrote ‘Just Another Country Song’ by myself when I first moved to Nashville in 2014. I was a little frustrated with the state of country music at the time because every song seemed to be about a girl and a truck. With a humorous perspective and playful satire, I jotted it down in about 20 minutes. I brought this song to my band and they helped me bring it to life with a rock ’n’ roll rhythm section and 90’s country-esque guitars.”

‘Just Another Country Song’ is a fresh twist on what makes a country song country and is a tongue-in-cheek take on what a lot of artists sing about in tracks. Taylor Goyette is an exciting new voice on the scene and with this latest offering, he showcases that he is an artist truly ready to step up and take control of the genre.
