Ward Thomas Share ‘Landslide’ Music Video

British country-pop duo Ward Thomas have today shared their gorgeous new EP ‘The Space Between‘ via their own independent label WTW Music which acts as a stop-gap between their third studio LP ‘Restless Minds’, and their upcoming fourth album which is slated for release later this year.

Speaking about their newest project which was written and recorded between London, Hampshire, and Nashville, Lizzy says: “This EP is all about togetherness. Holding space for someone, reaching out to help, or just being present and there with someone through a difficult time.”

For the upcoming LP, the English artists have been writing with a number of esteemed artists and writers including the likes of Sarah Darling, Jessica Sharman, and Dan Owen to create what promises to be a stunning follow-up to their top-ten 2019 release.

Whilst the EP bridges the gap perfectly with three brand new original tracks that offer emotive poignancy along with a stellar cover of Fleetwood Mac’s classic ‘Landslide’ which is the song that made Ward Thomas fall in love with harmony based music. Their rendition is a soulful creation that shines a light beautifully on their spine-tingling sibling harmonies and breathes new life into the original cut.

Along with sharing the EP and releasing ‘Landslide’ as an official single, the duo have also shared the official music video for the track. The clip has been filmed at their rural Hampshire home where they are currently quarantined due to the UK lockdown which is in place to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

Shot artistically from above, the video sees the twins laying down on luscious green grass as they perform the emotive lyrics with feeling, the simplistic approach allows for the lyrical story to truly come to life and gives room for their vocals to shine in a gorgeous way.

Ward Thomas never fail to deliver and seem to get better, and better with every release, and with this latest record they showcase once again the incredible level and of growth and maturity, they have undergone since breaking onto the scene several years ago.
