The Adelaides Announce New Single ‘Seven Billion’
Fast-rising Midlands country-pop trio The Adelaides have officially announced details of their brand new and much anticipated single ‘Seven Billion’. The track was written in Nashville during a sun-drenched writing session and it is the latest taster to be shared from their forthcoming debut LP which is slated for release in 2021.
During their Tenessee trip, the three best friends Abi, Alicia, and Paris teamed up with esteemed producer Femke Weidema during CMA Fest weekend 2019, and together they have created a powerful anthem about finding power in who you truly are and not being afraid to let your personality shine.
Speaking about ‘Seven Billion’, The Adelaides say: “This is a powerful song which is all about positivity. Its message is that, even with a global population of seven billion, everyone is unique, amazing, and beautiful in their own way. This song is for everyone who has ever had anything negative said to them, just for simply being who they are. We feel like the world needs this song right now; there are huge pressures on us all in this day and age to try and change to be like other people, but everyone should be happy in their own skinโ.
Their latest offering follows on from their October 2019 release ‘I’d Do It Again’, and their stunning collaboration with Charles Esten on ‘Sanctuary’ which dropped back in March of this year to much fan and critical acclaim. With their diving vocal harmonies, relatable lyrics, and powerful pop-infused productions The Adelaides are well on their way to becoming the standout group of the UK country music scene.
