The Adelaides Share Cover of Dua Lipa’s ‘Break My Heart’

Fresh from releasing their impressive and empowering new single ‘Seven Billion’ back in June, fast-rising British country crossover trio The Adelaides have shared their stellar cover of pop powerhouse Dua Lipa’s global smash-hit ‘Break My Heart’ and the result is phenomenal.

The band consisting of Abi Phillips, Paris Georgia, and Alicia Alba always add a dash of pop to their UK country sound so this crossover into the pure pop world is a natural move for them whilst they also add a distinctive country music stylistic to the original meaning that it sounds truly unique.

The clip which was shared by the girls on Wednesday, July 22nd was filmed during lockdown with each group member performing solo from their own homes before the video footage was spliced together in order to create the stunning rendition that showcases their gorgeous vocal harmonies.

During the recording, The Adelaides were also joined by session musicians James Burgess, Joe Dolman, and Harry Green who all added a stunning acoustic backdrop allowing for the trio’s glorious vocals to truly shine. It is a beautiful version and one that once again showcases the incredible talent the Brit country group possess.

Speaking about sharing their outstanding Dua Lipa cover, Abi, Paris, and Alicia said: “During lockdown, we got together (through a screen) with our boys and recorded a song we absolutely love!! This time we mixed it up with another one of our favourites”
