The Adelaides Share ‘Seven Billion’ Lyric Video

Back last month, fast-rising British country trio The Adelaides released their anthemic, empowering new single ‘Seven Billion’ which is all about celebrating your true self and never letting anybody tell you you’re not special. We are all unique in our own way and the lyrics of this track bring that sentiment to life whilst also shining a light on their soaring three-piece harmony.

Speaking about their latest offering, The Adelaides said: “This is a powerful song which is all about positivity. Its message is that, even with a global population of seven billion, everyone is unique, amazing, and beautiful in their own way. This song is for everyone who has ever had anything negative said to them, just for simply being who they are. We feel like the world needs this song right now; there are huge pressures on us all in this day and age to try and change to be like other people, but everyone should be happy in their own skin”.

Since its release on Friday, June 26th the single has racked up in excess of 12,000 streams across streaming giant Spotify, their biggest debut to date and a real signal to the world that they are a huge country-pop act on the rise to global stardom. And with the release of their first album due next year, the only way is up for this incredible female trio.

And now following the formal release of ‘Seven Billion’ last week, the three-piece crossover group consisting of Abi Phillips, Paris Georgia, and Alicia Alba have shared the official lyric video for the song which sees the three girls in animation caricature form as they perform the anthemic release from their own homes due to the ongoing lockdown in the UK.

The colorful clip also sees The Adelaides performing as themselves alongside their anime’s with a cute floral backdrop and bold lyrical display. It’s eye-catching, summery, feel-good, and fun whilst also bringing the lyrics of the inspirational song to life in the perfect way.
