The Adelaides Share The Weeknd Cover ‘Blinding Lights’
With the UK still being in lockdown and residents having restrictions on who they can freely mix with, country-pop trio The Adelaides are still having to find innovative ways to perform together and one of those is via livestream spliced video performances across YouTube.
And having shared a number of gorgeous covers across the platform over the past few months the fast-rising country act have now shared their latest video with them performing a stunning cover of global superstar The Weeknd’s worldwide smash-hit ‘Blinding Lights’ – and it is incredible.
The clip sees The Adelaides consisting of Alicia Alba, Abi Phillips, and Paris Georgia performing from their own individual Midlands homes with the footage then being edited together to allow their breathtaking vocal harmonies to collide for a truly mesmerizing rendition.
There is always something special when their three voices come together to cover a massive contemporary chart hit and this country twist on The Weeknd’s smash is remarkable and allows for them to showcase their effortless harmonies and shine a light on their gorgeous country influences.
The Adelaides are one of the best country-pop acts on the scene right now and their luscious voices create a harmony dynamic that is the best non-blood vocal blend you’re likely to hear and this year is set to be a huge breakout one for the trio with a debut album in the works.
