The British Country Music Festival Announce 2021 Line-Up
Following a hugely successful launch year back in 2019 with an array of talent taking to the multiple stages including the likes of Ward Thomas, Twinnie, Sarah Darling, Jake Morrell, Catherine McGrath, and many, many more, The British Country Music Festival was set to bring their sophomore line-up back to Blackpool this year however COVID put a stop to those plans.
Thankfully event organizers Fit The Bill were able to secure the Winter Gardens venue for September 2021 with TBCMF penciled in for the weekend of 3-5th with a huge list of homegrown talent set to take to the stages for what promises to be a real celebration of British country music.
And now the festival have announced the line-up for next years forthcoming showcase with a hugely exciting array of UK talent ready to wow concert-goers such as Nathan Carter, Wildwood Kin, Lisa McHugh, Martin Harley, Jack, and Tim, Holloway Road, Bailey Tomkinson, Kezia Gill, Blue Rose Code, Katy Hurt, Bennett Wilson Poole, Martin Harley, Cormac Neeson, Jess Thristan, Zoee, Eleri Angharad, and many more.
The three headliners will be Liverpool-born Nathan Carter who is now based in Ireland and is one of the genre’s most coveted artists, folk crossover trio Wildwood Kin who have quickly become one of the most revered trio’s in recent history, and international touring sensation Lisa McHugh.
Nathan Carter will be headlining the opening day of The British Country Music Festival on Friday, September 3rd, Wildwood Kin will close out day number two on Saturday, September 4th, whilst Lisa McHugh will be bringing the curtain down on the three-day event on Sunday, September 5th.
Speaking about next year’s festival, Fit The Bill’s Maina Blore says: “Following a very tough year for live entertainment, we are thrilled to be back with The British Country Music Festival following its successful launch in 2019. It’s more important than ever that we support homegrown performers, many of whom have struggled for survival in 2020. “
