The Incredible Rise Of Twinnie Since Signing With BMG In 2017

Sunday, August 23rd will mark three years since York country-pop singer/songwriter Twinnie signed to BMG after several years of grafting and hard work as an independent artist which saw her talent rise to the top and resulted in the major interest of industry insiders and eventually an offer from the UK based label.

And since signing on the dotted line the performer has had an incredible success rate across the radio, charts, and live sector and also has a joint label deal with Broken Bow Records in Nashville and back in 2019 she also signed a publishing deal with BMG which gives her creative control over her songs and allows her to maintain the rights of tracks she pens for herself and others.

Following the 2017 record label deal, Twinnie has had an outstanding three years with a string of hit singles, radio support both in the US and UK, huge supporting tour slots, multiple C2C performances, and standout headline shows in London and with a full headlining tour in the diary, she is set to further cement her status as one of Britain’s best live performers and all-round artists.

Meanwhile, 2020 saw the York artist release her long-awaited major-label debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which had been in the works for around 15 years since Twinnie began creating music and with the support of BMG she was graced with time to hone the record over the course of the three years she has been under the wing of the company and the result is a phenomenal crossover record that showcases the English performer’s outstanding vocal and songwriting talents.

The LP is a wonderful introduction to Twinnie as she shines a light on her stellar sonic sound that incorporates an eclectic blend of anthemic pop productions, classic country lyrics, and soft-rock led offerings that mark her out as one of the most impressive artists making music at this current time as she continues to blaze a trail within the crossover genre with her standout fresh sound that is breaking barriers of what British country music is.

And with another album already in the works with the singer/songwriter having begun writing during the enforced UK lockdown and a tour booked in for November, Twinnie is set to have an illustrious career within the industry and if she continues to create bodies of work that are as impressive as ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ then it won’t be long until she is one of the most well known and respected country acts of our generation.
